October and early November in this region are known for two things: beautiful leaves and fun Fall events. In Elkins and the surrounding area, you will find the next few weeks filled with Fall-themed parties and vendor events.

Oct. 21

3rd Annual Mayfield Mercantile Craft Fair, 8am-5pm at 20815 Pug Gayer Road in rural Fayetteville, more than 40 vendors selling crafts, etc.

 

Oct. 25

First Southern Baptist Church of Goshen Trunk or Treat Festival 6pm at the church; candy, fun and chili cook-off.

 

Oct. 28

White River Nursery Arts & Crafts Fair, 9am-4pm at White River Nursery, booths with locally handmade wares.

Friends of EPL Harry Potter Fall Movie, 2pm-5:30pm at the Elkins Community Center; movie, games, candy

Crosses Community Church Fall Festival, 4:30pm at the church; hayride/cake walk, chili dinner, etc.

3rd Annual Elkins Trunk or Treat, 5:30pm at Bunch Park; community members/businesses giving out candy

FBCE Fall Festival, 5:30pm-8pm at First Baptist Church; food, drinks, heaps of candy, games, and prizes

 

Oct. 31

Bank of 1889 will be hosting a Trunk or Treat at their Elkins location, 3pm-5pm - 1965 N Center St. Any businesses or groups interested in participating can call Mahala at (479)643-2222.

 

Nov. 4

Elkins Farmers Market 5th Annual Craft Fair 10am-2pm at Harris Baptist Church, crafters and farmers selling wares

2nd Annual Gypsy Rose Craft Fair, 10am-4pm at Gypsy Rose Boutique, vendor booths with various businesses

 

Nov. 11

The Goshen Farmers Market Holiday Market, 9am-12pm, at the Goshen Community Building; artisans and farmers selling wares
